The International Breathwork Foundation (IBF) presents:

What is Global Inspiration Conference (GIC)?

A week of Celebration and exchanges of the latest techniques/information contributing to the personal and global evolution. Participants at the GIC comes from all over the world, and include many renowned professionals in the field of breathwork and other techniques that support healing and the expansion of consciousness.

Moments of connection as a whole group are mixed with a series of specific workshops offers each day, a keynote speaker and lots of fun, like disco, dance and music.

Two unique features of GIC are:

1. Everyone is on the same level. Anyone can lead an activity or workshop, whether you are just starting in the personal growth field, or whether you are an established proffesional.
2. The program of most of the activities is generated on site with a very fluid system where everybody can offer to share their work and each participant has a wide variety of activities to choose to attend from.

In conjunction with IBF since 1994 the GIC is organised each year by a different person, who is usually an IBF senior member, committed to deepen and expand the spirit of GIC and IBF.

Typical days at GIC include:

• Early morning activities (chanting, womens or mens group, yoga, meditation, for examples,… or sleeping)
• Breakfast - making new friends.
• Group connection and presentation of the workshops or activities for the afternoon.
• The General Assembly of the IBF (5 days), which is a very inspiring space for co-creating the future of IBF and see how decisions and team work can flow easily in big groups (anyone is invite to participate) and other groups activities.
• Lunch knowing new friends.
• Afternoon's workshops.
• The keynote speaker conference.
• Dinner enjoying new friends.
• Activities for the night.

All activities are free, and part of the GIC fee. The week starts with an opening ceremony … and other surprises.

2010 Global Inspiration Conference in Spain Alter 11 years, Spain is hosting this international event for the second time this international event. It was in 1999 in Almeria that seeds were planted to have a growing community of adepts and professionals of conscious breathing throughout the peninsula. As a consequence of that experience, two Hispanic Congresses of conscious breathing were organised. They brought strength, friendship, exchange of information and experience that helped consolidate the expansion of the community. In 2010, the GIC is coming to Spain at this key moment in time where, from all around the World, we share expansion, new openings and deepening, cooperation, enthusiasm and growing knowledge through the distinctive practices that expand our consciousness.

New training schools or the consolidation of existing ones, all dedicated at the expansion of consciousness and the quality of our Being along with growth in the number of Breathworkers professionals, are a clear testament to the success of this movement in the Iberian region, wich now benefits from numerous events and visits from many international leadres in the field. Spain is a bridge between Europe and Africa, gateway to the Mediterranean and point of connexion with the Americas. It is a crossroad of many ancient cultures such as Iberian, Celtic, Arabic cultures and Latin, Greek and Roman cultures. This unique mix and its geographical position make Spain an ideal site for the meeting, mutual recognition, respect and peacefull coexistence of all the different populations of the planet.

In addition, the Spanish and Latin character given to this part of the World and to its people manifests itself into an enthusiastic impulse to face all the current challenges that life is offering us at these times.

BreathWork and other techniques related to expansion of consciousness and the personal evolution of our Being are precious tools to grow through the challenges and opportunities that these times offers us in the field of human and social evolution. These challeges which show up in personal, familial, social, cultural, political and economic, life require us to work on our personal, psychological, emotional balance and our spiritual connection.

For all of us who love working with the Breath in particular, as well as for all of those interested in general in the unlimited capacity of the human being, the Global Inspiration Conference is a real gift. It is an opportunity to meet new friends from around the globe, to nurture ourselves in a wide spiritual family, to share with the world our idiosyncrasies, our talents, our knowledge, our way of living. It is also an opportunity to receive those who want to share with us their being, their experience and knowledge. Together we will live, celebrate and breathe the joy of a living worldwide community.
